My favorite city in Chile

Hello! Today I will write about my favorite city in Chile, this city is Viña del Mar.

Viña del Mar, is a city with many nocturnal life, I love this city because is similar to Santiago but also has sea and beach. As well as Viña has on the side the city of Valparaíso, where exist many inherited building; Valparaíso is the historic arm of this area, declared Human Patrimony in 2003. In Viña del Mar and Valparaíso you can find the Flower Clock, the subway (which move on the side of beach in Valparaíso, subterranean in Viña del Mar, and across the hillside in the interior villages), the municipal casino, the Vergara´s Holiday House, the Vergara Square, etc.

I know Viña del Mar since my childhood; the first time I traveled with my dad, I had 10 years old. My dad and me stayed in an hotel room, two nights, near of Plaza Vergara. In the night, I impressed by the lights and the nocturnal life. After a few years, I knew a friend that resided in this city, and also knew his family, they invited me some summer. At present, I travel sometimes to Viña during the year, about 3 or 4 occasions.

Viña del Mar is different to other cities, because Viña has marine air, in exchange Santiago has many smog, therefore, Viña is a good place for live; in this city you have all the required for live but with a best air for breathe.

Other city that I like is Concepción, is very similar to Viña or Santiago, and also has little village around. But also, I love a place in Chile that don´t similar to Santiago, Viña or Concepción, this place is Chiloe Island; a magical place, very peaceful and different customs, is a pretty place to go in holidays, but I ever need the life in the city, I used to live in it.

A COUNTRY I'D LIKE TO VISIT

Hello! I will tell about a country I’d like to visit. This country is Spain.

I chose this country because his culture attracted me. I watch Spanish TV Series and his idioms and expressions captivated me. Also, I have a middle sister in Barcelona since 2005, she is fashion designer and I know that she can receive me in his apartment.

Spain is a historic country, full of culture, with different languages in his regions; the Castilian, Basque, Galician, Catalonian, etc. That country have even a monarchy, in which, recently, the king abdicated the throne and his son took his place. Spain is recognized by the bullfights and the flamenco, but the first thing has been questioned, especially by animal lovers. 

In Spain, I´d like go all over the historic center of Madrid and Barcelona, and also be in Seville, Catalonia and the Basque Country. I´d like taste the Spanish Food, for example, the Spanish omelette, the spicy sausage, the paella and the Christmas cookies. I wanna meet to my favorites actors and actress of Spain, for example Isabel Ordaz, Fernando Tejero, Jose Luis Gil, Jordi Sánchez and Antonia San Juan. And finally, see up close the Madrilenian night, his bohemian parties and his typical dances, for example the Flamenco or the Double March. 

Sincerely, I don´t want study or work in Spain, especially now with the economic crisis. I would like stay on holidays in this country, with money that I would have saved.

My blogging experience.

Hello! Today I will write about my blogging experience in the English class.

First, I consider than this blog was a good experience to learn English, because that distinguished of the typical form of learn this language. I personally enjoy more the blog class than the class in the classroom.

Beforehand, I has a personal blog, but I don´t continue with this project; in a near future I think open this blog again. At present, I have a community blog with some friends, the blog (aspire to be a electronic magazine) is called "El Aluvión" and I with my friends publish varied themes, from homophobia even video-games.

This blog help did me improve my English. Thought I still have mistakes with the grammar, but with the meanings and translation I don´t have problems.

This mechanics permit that each one make progress in his own rate, and look up in Word-reference allow know news words. But the time to dedicate the activity is not much.

I would change the method of choose the topics for the blog, including, that each one choose his own topic in someone class. And I would dedicate more time to blog, maybe fifteen minutes more, but with the condition that the writing would be a little more long.

My favourite movie

Hello! I will tell about my favourite movie, this is Silent Fall.

This movie was filmed in 1994, written by Akiva Goldsman and directed by Bruce Beresford, the story tells about a little boy with autism who is a only witness to a double murder. The stars of the movie: Richard Dreyfuss, Lyv Tyler, John Lithgow and Ben Faulkner.

A psychiatrist, the Dr. Jake Rainer (Richard Dreyfuss) is called to get that the little Tim Warden remind the moment of murder of his parents, but this will not be easy for Jake; Sylvie Warden, the Tim´s sister, is too protective with him, so, Sylvie won´t leave alone to his little brother. Subsequently, Dr Jake achieves that this boy develop his skills and also get that Tim loses his fears. All this under the watchful look of Sylvie, which slowly begins to trust in Jake. A day, Jake decided to carry Tim to the crime scene for that the boy remind the moment and he can obtain a clue, Jake realized that the suspect that he has in a start, isn´t the responsible, and the murderer is closer to the little Tim.

 I like this movie because I love the mystery movies, novels and tv series. And this movie, in his outcome, shows a complex psychology of his personages and the reasons of the crime be very good explains.

Person that I admire...

Hello!! Today, the topic of my blog is about of someone that I admire in my career area. This person is Lev Vygotsky.

Lev Vygotsky was born in Vítebsk in a jewish family, he was the second among eight children. In his adolescence Lev was fanatic of the theatre, but he studied medicine; afterwards, he taught psychology and logic in the Pedagogic Institute. Subsequently, Lev Vygotsky dedicated to write essays and create psychology laboratories. Among them stand out a laboratory to study childrens of the kinder garden. Lev Vygotsky generated a new thinking in Development Psychology, with basis in authors as such Sigmund Freud, Jean Piaget, Wolfgang Köhler, Daniel Stern and Arnold Gesell. This thinking allowed work with cases of children illiterates and problematics (in those days be lefty considered abnormal).

 I like Vygotsky because his thinking allowed see to the different childrens of a distinct form. With his theory of the "Near Development Area" allowed that each one worked in his own rate, removing the competition in the education.

My favourite artist

I never have a permanent favourite artist or band, all my life I change of favourite artist, but in this moment of my life my favourite artist is Gepe, a chilean artist.

Gepe, whose real name is Daniel Riveros, have 32 years old, he born in 1981. Since his childhood, Daniel liked of playing battery in some little bands, for example, in the children`s band Mazapán. After, he studied in the Miguel Leon Prado College, afterwards of his graduation, Daniel formed his first musical band, in 1999. In 2002, be part of the musical group of Javiera Mena, but after he continue as soloist as yet. He created four disc how soloist, the years: 2005 (Gepinto), 2007 (Hungría), 2010 (Audiovisión) and 2012 (GP); and in 2013 created a album with the duet Alex & Daniel. 

The music style of Gepe is varied, inclusive the rock, the acoustic pop, the pop with electronic basis and influenced by the Andean music and the "New Chilean Song". 

I like Gepe because is an artist that wanted bring the music of our roots andeans and Latin Américans of a different and original form, mixing this music with rhythms more familiars for the actual generation, for example the pop and the rock; this has brought that some groups and persons in this country or in nearby countries criticizes the music of Gepe, above all his videos, but this I like more of Gepe, some of his videoclips don't have logical in them, which converted him in a particular and original artist.

A beautiful photography

Hello! Today I will tell about of a photograph that I like.

This photograph was taken by me in this summer, exactly in February, in my travel to the south of Chile, specifically, in a tour to Chiloé Island, near of Castro, the capital of this island. 

The photograph show a typical building of Chiloé, a lake dwelling, in this photograph we can see many lake dwelling, all together, with a little and green hill at the back. We can see the reflection of the dwellings in the lake. I like this photograph because I had never travelled to Chiloe Island in my life, so, the photograph symbolize my first travel to this place.

The tour to Chiloe Island endure only one day. I went with my mother in this travel to the south, we stayed in Puerto Montt, in the house of a mother`s friend, for a time, around of one week. 

This photography was taken with my cell phone, which have a very good camera. 

My favourite cartoon

Hello! I will tell about my favourite cartoon, it is Detective Conan.

Detective Conan is a japanese cartoon, is the story of an adolescent detective that is a witness of a drug traffic, but the dealers see to the detective and hit him, later, they gave him a pill for kill... but when the detective wake up, he has been transformed in a kid! Afterwards, under the name of Conan Edogawa, he join with a crazy doctor for find to the criminals; and he approach to his great love Ran Mouri and her dad, Kogoro, a useless detective, for don´t lose the practice in the resolve of crimes.

I watch this cartoon since of 10 years old. I like Detective Conan because ever I love the mystery, and this cartoon present for the spectator new cases all the days with an original style. I still watch this cartoon and in Japan don´t finish yet. I watch Detective Conan when I have free time, together with other TV series, normally, every two days.

My favourite character of Detective Conan is Kaito Kid, a elusive thief that Conan don´t get catch, nor the police, he dress up for camouflage yourself and don´t be capture, he can dress up of men or women and ever leaves riddles in the crime scene.

This cartoon have topics such as the drug traffic, the organized crime, murders to litlle or great scale, the unconditional love, etc.

Technology

Hello! Today I tell you about my favourite piece of technology, this piece is my mp4, i bought this piece in Internet, in the page "Mercado Libre", in May of last year, after of I was robbery. 

I use the mp4 when I travel or in my route to my job or my university. Normally, I liked, on top, walk in the park or the streets of Santiago in cloudy days but listen the music in my mp4. 

So, I used this artefact every day, don`t be day in which I not used my mp4. I like used this because the music is very important in my life, the music has been a great help to me in difficult or unhappy moments. I feel comfortable when the reproductor change of a song to other, above all, if the music changes of style. 

If I wouldn`t have this article, my travels or my route to the job or to the university would like very boring. I imagine how would be my ten hours of travel to the South in vacations without music and I wouldn`t travel tottally happy. 

The day of I would lose my mp4, I will go inmediately to buy other.
